The truth is actually the reverse, that Israel remains unwilling to make any meaningful concessions to right the grievous wrongs it has committed upon the indigenous peoples of that land, in order to achieve lasting peace. Otherwise, Haass' assessment is mostly objective. There has been no peace partner in Israel with Netanyahu for many years, and there will be none for months...if then. Kushner spinning his wheels for the voters supporting illegal Jewish settlement in Occupied Palestinian Territory in the West Bank -- the land intended for the Palestinian people's nation. This does not promote peace-Kushner and Trump are in actuality promoting conflict, as has been pointed out by a number of experts - just as Jonathon Swan did.
