@adjjackson9331 I live near 6 turbines usually when its blowing a gale they are stopped something to do with if they go too fast they burn out.

In 8 to 10 years but we need some solutions now. Green energy cannot cope at this present time yet the net zero worshippers turn faint at any mention of fracking, nuclear or oil. If we do not want power cuts we have to look at these other alternatives now even if its just a short term fix. All the talk of fracking or nuclear but I expect it will take years to get them up and running. What will happen when millions of electric vehicles are charging up every day?. I expect we will need twice as many wind turbines and solar farms to what we have at present.

Agreed. They can't have it both ways if green energy is cheaper than oil or coal ( according to some ) how come we are all paying extra for energy that is coming from countries like Russia and the price is determined by world markets?.

No money in it for farmers I expect. Much like Heseltine told us leaving the EU would be wrong then we find out he was getting 90 grand a year from the EU in subsidies.
