  1.  @tommitchell4579  Most of them rely on wind and sun neither of which appear in Britain 365 days of the year. Even worse when its blowing a gale they shut the turbines down so they don't burn out.

  2. We all want to save the planet she talks about our childrens future but shes not worried about kids today that come from families that cannot afford to heat their homes or OAPs that have to decide to eat or heat. We cannot rely on green energy at the moment or supplies from overseas.

  6.  @stevehayward1854  It doesn't make sense transporting fossil fuels half way round the world bringing it to Britain using diesel engines when we got it on our doorstep. I'll be happy to do away with fossil fuels if green energy can cope but it can't at present. If we are struggling now to cope just imagine when millions of vehicles are charging up everyday.
