  1. We cannot allow a small group of the permanently offended decide what is allowed and what is not. I expect the vast majority of people in Bristol either don't care or would want the statue to remain. No statue should be removed without consulting the local community.

  2. Probably part of rent a mob that will attach themselves to any cause that allows them to conduct criminal activity. I doubt any of them care about the slave trade or Colston.
