Football was a working class pastime but it would cost a few hundred pounds to take your family to a PL match nowadays if you include food etc it has priced many families out of going. Football has sold its soul because we have virtue signalling footballers taking the knee particularly at Newcastle but they won't say a word about their new owners coming from a country with poor human rights record. Players will accept the new owners while the owners are paying players wages so they can still afford 20 grand for a watch.
