My friend has been in the area a few times in past when she was going to school at Virginia Commonwealth University. It wasn’t as dangerous as people put it out to be. There was definitely a few dangerous college students but they probably aren’t residents of Richmond. She was helping people register to vote with others hence in the neighborhood. My sister in Richmond now and not in the area as near the college campus.

@renroxhrd The main campuses, downtown, and museum district are fine. Some of the students are wild but that’s normal for college students. You will see homeless asking for money but not really dangerous. Their used to be a house or two with the nazi sign near the main college campus but not sure if still there. It’s not as bad as people make it out to be.

@leondrabraids I’ve been a few times and it is nice. My sister attends the college there and my cousin did too.

@lucasmcclain3088 I know it isn’t hence the comment. I know people who have been to VCU before my sister did know. I mentioned my friend as she helped people register to vote in so many parts of Richmond. The poster may not know.

@STell743 It’s not a daily occurrence. Some people have left packages out for days and not even robbed. Robbery happens everywhere. There have been business that forgot to lock the doors and not even robbed.
