@whyouread Software developers and politicians are not the same thing. Is it really that difficult to understand? You can stay neutral or non-political as a project or as an organization if you want to. You actually do have that choice. Not every single damn thing must be about politics or political biases. And remember that Linus Torvalds made emotional personal statements, so this is not just about the sanctions. And you also have to understand that this is not just about Linus Torvalds statements on Russia. This is a problem with most popular Linux Distros and most big open source projects. Debian, Fedora, openSUSE, NixOS, MX Linux, Gnome, KDE, Mozilla, Godot, Asahi Linux, Hyprland/WayLand, Open Desktop... and the list just goes on and on. All these leftists forcing their political views on to everything and it's extremely toxic and destructive. If this continues I can guarantee you that desktop linux or open source won't be a real thing for regular people in the future, because It's exactly like people say: "Go woke, go broke".
