@Michelle-Eden Depends on how the GOP handles the post-Trump landscape. If they don't run away from MAGA and nominate Vance or whoever Trump anoints as his heir, I could see a new golden age of the U.S. eventually taking place. But if they go back to the neocon days of the Bushes, the Romneys and the Cheneys... then yeah, it will be a small blip in history.

I can almost guarantee you that at least 90% of the people voting for Kamala because of Swift's endorsement were already almost certain to back her anyway.

Honestly I think Swift's time of massive fame and fortune is almost up. I'd be surprised if she's still relevant by 2035 or even if she retains half her popularity by 2030. I think the panic about her is overblown anyway. I feel like many people who are dumb enough to be voting for Kamala just because Swift is supporting her are the kind of people that were ALWAYS going to come around to her anyway. They're not the kind of voters Trump ever stood a shot at getting.

@rosanneshinkle4133 You really think the left will allow that? How else do you believe we got into this mess in the first place? The U.S. being a country where the left and the right could disagree on tax cuts and then come over later that same evening for an evening barbecue are LONG gone. That country was too good for the corrupt and power hungry left.

@metalwarrior6668 Those are all valid options but even still, it's hard to really trust how much of an optimistic future they'll really have, especially since the globalists are dead set on total world power. All it will take is for the Polish and Hungarians to become complacent and too cozy in their nice lives to ignore the outside smaller issues they face, and then in about 10-20 years from now they'll be in the same situation we are in now. By and large the reason why the globalists have been able to eat us alive as much as they have is because they've mastered the art of slow despotism, taking their agenda little by little since they know the average Westerner doesn't pay much attention to politics and can easily make small concessions here and there. Whilst we can hope the Polish and Hungarians won't fall for that trap and give them an inch, at the rate things are going it's hard to say.

@metalwarrior6668 Notice how I said "Almost" the entire western world, not quite literally the entire western world. I'm well aware there's at least a few countries seemingly turning a corner or at least remaining somewhat stagnant in their commitment to European values and freedom, and that's of course a great thing, but it doesn't change the fact that as a whole without the U.S. there really isn't much to do. Plus with the left determined to take over literally everything and them having more leverage to do so should the U.S. fall, who's to say Poland or Hungary couldn't eventually also be infected by them at some point? All they'll have to do is do what they've done here and BS everybody into thinking that they somehow have the more morally righteous ideology...
