I just want to know why so many people actually judge presidents on their personalities rather than their competence in office and their list of achievements. You can be an extremely nice person (or at least pretend to be one to gain support for your authoritarian policies like Dubya did) and still be corrupt and shameless as hell, and vice versa. I'm fully willing to admit that Trump may not be the type of guy you can just sit down and have a beer with, but that doesn't change the fact that he is by far the best president we've had in generations.

@Eirik_Bloodaxe He did but he didn't actively campaign for McCain. Not that it matters anyway, both are/were warmongering pieces of human filth and the GOP was fucked in 2008 no matter what thanks to Dubya.

The sad part is that he wasn't even the worst president that could've been elected in 2000. Al Gore was even more hawkish than Bush and had he gotten elected, who knows if anybody would be alive today!

LOL WTF are you talking about? Bush's presidency was so bad that even the vast majority of Republicans didn't want anything to do with him by the end of his term! Or do you actually think it's good to start endless wars and violate the constitution in every way???
