Thanks for the effort put in, I've been trying to do this myself for some time, but I got a little down when I wasn't even sure whether the year started on new or full moon. Maybe some day I will find a good source to support either choice. Maybe from a bit later and such, supposed 'christian' times are still full of old heathen customs.
