  1. Because of your video of Fylgja I read Thorstein Vikingsons saga. And I ran into the word 'hamhleypa', meaning 'shapeshifter'. Second part being related to 'leap', which means run or walk in most other Germanic languages. Wiktionary also lists 'to go in or out' as a meaning, so perhaps to go in or out of another shape? Either way, the first part is obviously the same 'ham' as in 'hamingja'. And to me -ingja just sounds like the suffix -ing. Do any other words have the suffix -ingja?
