  1. Think what we saw here was the masters learning of what has befallen their servants. Iran ordered the october 7 genocide to disrupt Israeli-Saudi relations, and what they saw was their Hamas getting absolutely torn to pieces and having nowhere to hide no matter how dirty they made the conflict. 20 years of non-stop building terror networks is being undone in 5 months. Now losing 15000 or so proxy soldiers is a setback for Iran, but not a huge disaster. Especially if those soldiers unlike their Hezbollah counterparts can not be redeployed from Gaza. In a direct war with the gloves off however, Iran could expect setbacks. Yes besides the Golan Heights there is no direct frontage to fight a conventional war in and Israel has no blue water navy to speak of. But what if a missile finds its way into the 'Great Leader''s golden palace? Or somehow a couple hundred naval mines show up all along Iran's ports and blocks their trade? What if those demonstrators Iran has been hanging by the dozen just to keep them opressed, suddenly start showing up with assault rifles?
