  1. As warfare develops, large standing armies aren't going to cut it. China's demographic issues will not stand in the way of the PLA. Having 1 million active soldiers sounds amazing, but if the Russians have shown us anything, it's that manpower does not give you an advantage.

  2.  @Iamwolf134  China, the US or whoever. Quantity of manpower will always fall short of quality. China has plenty of men for the next 30 years. Yet, that doesn't mean anything.

  3. ​ @smittywerbenjaegermanjense2350 it isn't 2010 anymore buddy, China has some of the best drones in the entire WORLD. Especially in the commercial sector. Even then, 1 dollar drones are perfect for wave attacks and swarms. Warfare evolves.

  5. Taiwan's young generation is the same. With a birth rate just as low if not lower than China's, I don't expect young Taiwanese to be volunteering by the masses, despite all the media and press talking about their "fighting spirit"

  7. Peter Zeihan is popular because he says things people want to hear. Saying that China has not advanced in the last 15 years is bullshit. Sure, China isn't the next superpower. Their economy is stagnating at best. But their education system isn't just "useless" like Zeihan makes it out to be.
