If you want to boost birth rates: - lower the cost of housing - lower the cost of education - lower the amount of working hours for parents - eradicate toxic work culture for potential parents - lower taxes for parents - give financial incentives for raising children If governments did this, I am confident that birth rates would see improvement. Currently, governments aren't doing anything serious, which must change.

@farrahconstant3598 Good point, although the work culture in Japan hasn't been fixed. This is probably the biggest reason for the low birth rate. You need time and money. Not one, or the other.

@farrahconstant3598 In south Korea, the cost of having children is still the most expensive in the world. The work hours are still the longest in the world. None of my measures have been implemented. Name me one country which has the strength to bring down housing prices?

The cost and work culture. Those are really the only two explainations you need.

@elite7329 No, literally none of the things I've mentioned have been implemented. Literally none of them.

@--Traveler-- China is probably going to make this change very soon, and we'll be sorry when they do.

Recent reports show that South Korea is the most expensive country to raise a child in. You don't need much more explanation other than those solid facts
