  2.  @Nexus_One_Alpha  Demographic trends aren't always guaranteed. For example, Japan might have a baby boom in the 2030s. China might have a baby boom in the 2060s. Russia might start having a baby boom in 2025 due to pro-natal policies. These aren't guaranteed, but still possible. We can't predict the future, despite past trends. Because if the past teaches us anything, it's that the future is unpredictable.

  3. Just remember that in 1923, Germany was in ruin. Economically collapsing, no military and an incapable government. 20 years later, they had an empire from France to Eastern Russia and everything inbetween. Let's not predict the future as we usually get it wrong.
