  1. Most runways have bad news at the end. Often an ocean. Planes are supposed to stay on the runway

  2.  @robertoguerrini9100  Most airports don't have unlimited space to have fields that a plane can run through once every 50 years. Many runways have water, highways, ravines, homes etc at the end.
