When you're dealing with a country like Russia that has kangaroo courts we're most likely always going to be trading a real criminal for a comparatively innocent person. People are acting like it would be a fair deal if Griner was an international arms dealer or murderer.

Or a disgraced Marine with a shady past who ought to have known better than be screwing around in Russia for ANY reason and was never even offered in the trade anyways.
