Well now that you have children's parents deciding what kids get taught I'm sure America can only get better. Let the Chinese and others educate their children with teachers. America will have the last laugh LMAO

@factmanamerican882 Africans would not have been selling slaves if Americans weren't buying them silly. And why would the American education system teach American students about anything other than America? I'm Canadian and we never had slaves in Canada my parents are Irish and they never had slaves in Ireland lots of people never had slaves silly

@factmanamerican882 Either way slavery lasted for 300 years in a country that considered itself Christian. I know my country Canada never had slaves. Wanna talk about what you guys did to the native Indians? The buffalo herds? Vietnam or more recently the 1 million Iraqis the USA got killed over BS weapons of mass destruction? Want to talk about Nagasaki or Hiroshima because America is the only country on the planet that ever used a nuclear weapon on innocent people or any people for that matter. Your countriy has got a lot of skeletons in the closet. But let's not talk about them let's not teach children about them. Let's just pretend Hollywood is right and America is the best country in the world.

@PhilipFear 1576-1865 African slavery existed in the Americas. Before that there was native Indian slaves as well

@factmanamerican882 There was no slavery once Canada became a country. What the French, British and even the indigenous peoples did is not my concern as a Canadian. Ever hear of the underground railroad? Canada provided save haven to American slaves.

@PhilipFear And yet Canada was fighting the Germans in 1939 while America was sitting on the fence. Canada has never lost a war. WW1, WW2, Korea. The one time we didn't fight with America you lost. (Vietnam) Oh ya and we kicked America's butt as well in 1812 ;-)

Congratulations from Canada! Letting kids parents decide what your children get taught is definitely the way to go. I just wish my country could be is forward thinking up here we still let teachers educate our children
