  5.  @daisylu1203  In north America and Western countries waterfront is prized real estate. Everybody wants to be on the water.

  6.  @daisylu1203  Here in Ontario Canada a building lot with 250 ft of shoreline on a lake will run you about half a million USD. For prime waterfront (level, western exposure, prestigious lake) a modest fixer upper cottage with well, electricity and septic system your easily over a million USD.
