  6.  @endofdays5598  Keep renting and when your 80 and you have paid off 2 or 3 people mortgages for them over the years and you have nothing to show for it, see how you feel. If you don't have property you better hope you have a million or so in the bank for retirement homes. A half decent retirement home is around $4000 a month and goes up from there. 😁

  7.  @endofdays5598  One day a homeowner will finish paying the mortgage and they will own the home and be able to sell it and pocket the cash. A renter may pay rent their whole life and have nothing to show for it. I paid $330 000 for my town home 5 years ago in a major city in Canada. My place is now valued at $600 000. I made $270 000 in 5 years by living in my place. That's a lot of equity. You might want to look that word up.
