  1. No jury in Canada has ever convicted someone for defending themselves. Even with deadly force. On the street you have a duty to retreat but not in your own home.

  4. @@marktwain168 There was no court case. They dropped the charges. Lawyer fee's will be minimal.

  5.  @codechartreuse  Those two men had history together. It wasn't some random intruder. The court ruled all the force used inside the home was justified but the murder which happened outside the home was not. Definitely not an open and shut case like a stranger breaking into your home
