  2. The way of life humans are used to is doomed. We are hopelessly addicted to oil. The people are divided and too many are ignorant and so selfish they refuse to make any sacrifices or even believe our climate is in trouble. All the other animals on Earth will be happy when we are gone. I think all intelligent life in the Universe has faced this moment at some point in their development when they risk destroying their environment. Probably explains why we don't see aliens zipping around the galaxy.

  5. A year ago everyone thought Russia was a superpower. Now we know they are nothing more than a weak terrorist state. But we do have to thank Putin for making NATO even stronger with the valuable additions of Denmark and Sweden.
