  3. Pyro Zach , Chicago already has some of the most restrictive gun laws in the United States, so it's not a gun problem. The problem is the local politicians keeping the police from enforcing existing laws and local judges giving light sentences and probation to violent criminals.

  5. alvin chipmunk , Well...It's a little more complicated than that. The Constitution keeps the federal government out of most state issues. The state would have to voluntarily ask for help in most instances.
