  2. Boneless Coding , Actually by this General making public comments, potentially against his Commander, he is at the least being insubordinate and at most mutinous.

  3. Boneless Coding , Then it won’t be this General, because he is anything but honorable. It’s not his job to decide or even debate foreign policy or what’s best for the country! His statements are insubordinate at the very least. The last thing we need is a military dictatorship taking over our country!

  5. Space Monkey , Actually, according to the UCMJ, “ALL” Military personal are forbidden to openly state a political opinion while on duty AND are not allowed to speak publicly against a superior officer. So, this General is NOT following UCMJ.

  6. Taran Marduk , Correct. We pledge an oath to the Constitution, however the President is the Commander and Chief. The President holds the highest rank of ANYONE. How exactly would a nuclear launch order subvert the Constitution? You really haven’t thought this through, have you? This General is openly making subversive commentary against his Commander. I’ll bet he is disciplined.
