  1. Comey should be investigated and a warrant obtained to take all of his electronic devices (laptop, computer, devices used to take notes) and storage devices into custody and mined for evidence. He believes that the documents he created are his own property, instead of the government's property. His "notes" should be entered into the government archives.

  4. Jim Smith , Actually the LAW says that his memos are the property of the US government, since they were made about his work as the FBI Director. So, there are still some issues he's going to be facing.

  6. Katatawnic ,the NYTs ran a story on May 11th that precipitated the President's tweet on May 12th, so you are exactly right. I wonder why no one seems to have caught this inconsistency in Comey's testimony.

  7. D Watson , Doesn't matter if they are classified or not. The fact that he made those memos in the course of his job as the Director of the FBI automatically makes them the property of the US Government. NOT his personal property. That is the law for ALL government employees. So, the thing that the DOJ needs to be looking at is, did Comey need permission to "leak" those documents AND why aren't those documents in the official archives.
