Alaskan Christian , Actually what you are referring to is in the 5th amendment and states that a land owner must be compensated for the land taken at a fair market value and said land must be for the greater good of the "public". In this case an argument for lower gas prices can be made. See. Simple. You don't need to get your panties in a wad over every single issue. IF Obama had done this you would be perfectly fine with it. Lol

  8. Rae8Anne , I'm not "for oil at ALL cost" as you say, however I would let them put the pipeline through my property. I would let the government have the land on the border, also, if I owned it. Why our government doesn't already own the land on our borders is baffling, to me!
