  20. Give it a rest! I had gall bladder and appendix, together removal 35 years ago at the age of 32! Full cuts as well not keyhole surgery like today . I was told it was" major " surgery! Two weeks in hospital and told not to drive or do housework etc for a month. Married with 2 kids and a self employed hairdressing job to go back to. My recuperation lasted the whole of a week and I was back driving and back out working, and all was fine. So why all the fuss! People are snowflakes today. The older generation just got on with it without whinging and wanting sympathy etc.
