@artsamuel2907 Even though no one living today is responsible. It was absolutely appalling what happened, but as I said no one alive now had anything to do with it. We need to move on. Just to add! My maternal grt grt grt Irish Grandfather left Ireland for England at the start of the potato famine. Apparently one had to be dirt poor to be allowed to emigrate. He got a job on the railways near Preston, then bought his own farm. He did very well for himself, in the end.
