And as for the public being vilified for going to help in the search, Peter needs to keep in mind that it was a member of the public who found Nicola Bulley, not the Police or private search teams! The public. And they aren't conspiracy theories, they are suggestions and ideas as to where Jay might be! Because it's obvious that the police have no idea where he is and what's happened to him. Remember that in many missing person cases, it is the public who find the person, alive or dead. Lancashire police in the Nicola Bulley case were utterly and totally incompetent.
