@OnlineEnglish-wl5rp Why do you think people resent the West? Isn't it because the West create uncomfortable living conditions in other countries through forever wars, regime change, coups etc. If other countries were constantly invading the West or imposing unrealistic sanctions on your country, wouldn't you resent them?

 @bigmedge America may not need Iranian oil and minerals but the rest of the world need Iran. So, weakening would mean weakening the rest of the world, which is something Americans don't want.
