United States sponsored the Tigrays to organize a coup against a democratically elected government because the current Ethiopian government didn't want to budge over the Nile Dam. US military wanted to intervene, but resistance from Ethiopians and neighbouring Kenya forced Americans to abandoned the plan. Isn't that authoritarianism? Let me not start talking about what's happening in the middle east and West Africa with French. All NATO foreign policies.

You can't claim US defeated the Taliban without the Taliban actually surrendering. A peace deal doesn't mean the Taliban surrendered. Also, its Ironic you mentioned Russia's loses in Afghanistan while forgetting USA lost $2.313 trillion in equipment and 7,000 soldiers. Looks like the Taliban are the only winners here in Afghanistan compared to the so called two Superpowers.
