@solodragoon Don't forget the British government did stop slave trade by compensating slave traders and owners billions of money for, and i qoute, "LOST PROPERTY." Does two wrongs make a right?
7
@musto121 but when the victims fight back, its called terrorism, savagery and barbaric behaviour. How unfair the world has always been.
6
@solodragoon Then, if Britain chose the economic route to solve the slavery issue, then you should understand why people don't give Britain credit for stopping slavery. When Britain chose to compensate slave owners, it lost the moral high ground on the slavery debate.
4
How can you invent something that naturally exist? Lol
4
It depends which side of the empire your ancestors were on. The side that beat others to work for free or the side was beaten if they demanded to be treated like human beings.
4
I didn't know was part of a civilising force. Lol
3
@debranjandas1425 Are you sure about that? You literally colonized more than half the world. Who got greedier than that?
3
@AdityaSingh-pc7fe Tell them 👏 👌. They think it is over because they left. Unfortunately, they left with other people's property.
3
The impact you are yet to suffer from. So, i feel sad for your great grandchildren.

The power on other side of the Atlantic ocean have created a series of events they can't control.

Source please?

@XXXTENTAClON227 I think you got me wrong. I don't think Americans thought it was a horrible practice that they couldn't ever compensate them. I think the American confederates saw slavery as too profitable, they were willing to die to preserve it. Americans are pure capitalist and Britain are socio-capitalist. Thats why Americans chose to fight and British agreed to be compensated to free slaves. Also, Americans didn't take the cheap route to free slaves. Compensating slave traders was the cheap route because nobody got hurt in the process. The fact that you see losing some money is a lot harder than Fighting shows you value money more than your own life, tells me you're an American. Americans are money oriented than British people.
2
Is it because it tells the psrt of the story you don't like to hear? Lol
2
@anthonycosgrave8539 Couldn't agree more. 👌 Glad to see am not the only seeing it.
2
@Officialnrb "Get your own books"? Lol.....i can see the old British arrogance built in you. Lmao......you don't make statement without evidence.
2
@Officialnrb You mean, serial killers? Lol.....no wonder people don't take you guys seriously anymore. You want others to believe what you say without evidence? Stop living in a fantasy and come back to reality. Nobody likes you anymore. Your nakedness is showing. Lmao
2
@waqarkhan25 Britain abolished slavery but didn't stop it.
2
@Officialnrb Thats not a sense of humor, dude. Thats pure ignorant and selfish statement to make. I think you underestimate your enemies so much, you literally think you're invincible.
2
@waqarkhan25 Stop taking credit for an effort you were forced to do. You were forced to abolish slavery because rebellion against slavery was at its peak in British slave territories. White slave owners were being killed by their slaves costing the British empire money.
1
@Karl von Bahnhof I really doubt what aztecs and other Americas tribes did was similar to European slavery system. The captured enemies paid reparations for losing the war by providing servitude work. Europeans captured slaves for commercial purpose only and these captured were of different race, which makes the entire slavery system worse.
1
Thats the sole reason why the British was the biggest slave trader, the carribean and the Americas are where captured African slaves went.
1
@Officialnrb What? Less blood shed if people did what they were told? Lol....maybe you're not as intelligent as i thought.
1
@Karl von Bahnhof Dude, Europeans sailed the world selling and enslaving Africans, the most innocent people on earth who had done nothing to them historically. Africans were targeted because of their physique, humble way of life and lack of military sophistication. Dude, Europeans slavery changed the demographic of entire African and American continents. Tell me which other slavery did that?
1
@jamesdavis8452 So, you're saying African slaves wanted to be slaves? Lmao
1
@maxdavis7722 I think Britain and Portugal share the same portion of African slaves to the Americas. Portugal and Britain sold and enslaved 70 percent of African slaves to the Americas. Also, Britain had to compensate their slave traders and owners (not slaves) for lost property after aboloshing slavery. This compensation ended in 2015, something somehow 🤔 Britain brag about till today.
1
@jamesoakley4570 Unfortunately, Britain still interferes in their politics so much nowadays. So, most of them dont see it that way. The troops the British force on their land makes it even worse. And the fact that we use military force to change their culture also shows some element of aggression on our part.
1
@jamesoakley4570 Am sorry, that doesn't make sense. Romans, vikings and Norman's dont exist in its original form as compared to Britain.
1
French were even worse than the British, their former colonies are still struggling with French government till now.
1
@maxdavis7722 But Britain was the most dominant slave owner and trader in the world at that time.
1
@thisiswhereweare9006 Now you're the reason whites will never know peace. You will always be looking over your shoulders to see what former colony is planning the next revenge mission.
1
@maxdavis7722 But they were state mandated massacre.
1
@maxdavis7722 the massacres in concentration camps in Kenya during the Mau Mau freedom uprising. Millions of Kenyans faced torture and systematic violence for fighting for their stolen land.
1
@maxdavis7722 Yes, it wasn't genocide but it was close enough to causea huge debate in Britain, thus contributing to the freedom of Kenyans today.
1
@maxdavis7722 Why did the British leave Kenya? If it was that good, then why doesn't Kenya have british population with the same influence as precolonial period? I just want to know what they taught you.
1
@maxdavis7722 You forget Britain is the one who started the globalisation of slavery.
1
Fortunately, this doc isn't meant to glorify the British Empire but to criticize the empire for its role in benefiting from the misery of others.
1
But how did they abolish slavery, by paying billions of dollars to slave traders and owners for "Loss Of Property." Lol....and Brits still want the credit.
1
@anthonycosgrave8539 what makes them different now? 🤔
1
@debranjandas1425 If Britain never forced opium on anybody, then why was the purpose of the opium war?
1
@XXXTENTAClON227 The confederates weren't going to abolish slavery through compensation of slave traders without a fight. That's a fact.
1
Funny thing is the former colonies are now changing Britain indirectly. Imagine what happens when power shifts to the former colonies. Will they plot their revenge for the atrocities committed by the Brits?
