Khalistan is a proxy of the CPC and Pakistani Army that is used against India and other enemies of the CPC and Pakistani Army (if for example they want to wack someone with plausible deniability). Michael Rubin understands the global implications of the de facto cold war between India/Japan/Vietnam/Philippines/South Korea/Taiwan on one side and China/Pakistan on the other. Khalistan needs to be understood through this prism.
