  2. Because I’m pretty sure he hasn’t actually read Kant, only stuff about Kant. Perhaps his unwilingness to read Kant is partially due to his practical inability to get into the whole meta-ethical world without completely abandoing history.

  5. You can get into Cartesian Doubt (questioning everything) or you could, as TIK did, accept the most probable proposition based on the available evidence.
