  2. I personally agree that we also need other measures similar to those you state. I believe we should have individual wealth caps, corporate size caps and corporate wealth caps, etc.

  3. You know why I know the bullshit fearmongering about inflation is wrong? Because you never hear about it when when they are cutting blank checks for Wall Street and the DOD. You NEVER hear about that and the amounts they spend are truly astounding. When they're giving hundreds of billions in corporate welfare to these worthless fat cats who don't deserve a PENNY because they already have millions or billions (so how dare they turn around and ask the government for basically a welfare check), they never talk about inflation then, oh no. Look people, It's ALL a scam. Not enough to help the poorest on the bottom stay housed or meet their basic needs, but there's ALWAYS enough to give a check for a billion or 500M to their rich buddies on Wall Street who already made them a campaign contribution, not to mention spend 1T for the DOD yearly. People crying about inflation are just misinformed and it's all part of the inflation scam which is an easy cop out for those in government not to put one PENNY towards relief for the ordinary person. I mean if excessive government spending was a problem then they would stop spending overall don't you think??? Not just curiously when it comes to doing something for regular people? I mean this is common sense, you don't need a PhD to be asking these questions. The tap never once runs dry for Wall Street and DOD. Just the rest of us. I can't be the only one that sees an issue with this. It's like when you were in school and either you or somebody else would call up one of your friends and say "hey you want to hang out" and they said "no I'm a little busy right now I can't do it because of XYZ", and you thought "okay", but then you see them later hanging out with somebody else. I'm sure every one of us has been through that sometime or another. Turns out they had plenty of time, they just didn't want to go out with you, but they didn't want to be rude or impolite, so they made up an excuse. But when somebody else asked them they were ready to go. It's the exact same thing. These dogs out there in DC that control the purse, the vast majority just don't give a shit about us even if their lives depended on it, and they don't want to give us one cent to help with our needs- that's it. But of course they will never neglect Wall Street or big business and certainly not the misnamed "Defense" dept. SO PEOPLE PLEASE STOP FALLING FOR THE INFLATION SCAM. EVERY TIME THEY TALK ABOUT DOMESTIC SPENDING THAT'S THE FIRST THING OUT OF ALMOST EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEIR MOUTHS. It's a lie, and it's bogus. These bought and paid for posers don't give a SHIT about spending if it's for Wall Street or the DOD. They just don't WANT to spend any on you or me, get that through your head. Not that they can't AFFORD to, they just don't want to, and inflation is the easy excuse to say we can't or we shouldn't. Inflation is rarely if ever caused by government spending- let's get that through all of our heads right NOW. It's caused by corporate greed and the lack of anti- price- gouging laws or price controls coming from the government.

  5.  @NotAPacifist825  okay you claim that hyperinflation in some countries is caused foreign trade to stop. Maybe you're right I don't know I've not studied economics to that degree. Please provide me more examples. Besides, are you assuming that if the government merely printed and spent what it wanted suddenly inflation would be out of control? because if government spending just somehow causes inflation to skyrocket I guess we shouldn't have a government we should spend nothing is that what you're implying? Also if government spending is so terrible, how to explain that every year Congress spends nearly unlimited funds on the DOD and gives hundreds of billions in literal gravy, AKA corporate welfare handouts, to their big business friends who then returned the favor By granting them significant campaign contributions. In any other country this cycle is called corruption to the Nth degree but here it's just called business as usual. Further, when it comes time to spend even a drop for basic social needs, suddenly the tap has run dry and it's "oh no! inflation inflation!". How do you explain that?

  6.  @NotAPacifist825  well it sounds like we're mostly on the same page so where are we disagreeing again? I just don't think we have to worry about doubling the money supply, by assuming everything's going to go up by exactly double- I just think that's a fallacy. You can't just assume if this, then that. Who knows exactly what's going to happen if suddenly there was twice as many greenbacks floating around? I think it's impossible to predict exactly what would happen but I don't think that should that should hold us back from doing what you and I both believe in, which is meeting everyone's basic needs as fully and efficiently as possible. We can do this by straight up government payments (benefit guarantees) and mandatory redistribution programs, which is what I favor.
