  2. Unbelievable. For those who struggle here, they have learned to be masochists. Masochism seems to be the dominant "value" that is taught by the political class and their shills in the media to the lower 50% here, and it's immediately visible and often livable in so many ways. Billionaires EARNED all that money and have a right to it, but people without (or in some cases even with) a college degree don't have a human right to earn a living wage, to have acceptable and affordable housing, or public healthcare; or even clean water or reliable power depending on where you live (to say nothing of a fair justice system but that's a whole other matter). Gobsmacking.

  3. At least do rent control for God's sake! I get they refuse to raise wages, we expect that, but they refuse to stop outrageous rent-seeking! Can they not do math????? How EXACTLY do they expect low-income people to live??? Then they complain about people being homeless. Well gee I wonder why!!! I guess it's our fault for not being robots and not being able to work continuously 24/7. 🙄 (Of course, public comprehensive healthcare should be a must as well. How can this still not be a given in 2022?!?)
