I think you're definitely correct- but that's why we need to focus on state and local elections now. DC is a tool of the corporate and suppression State. I would only vote for Dems just to keep Republicans out. but if there is going to be any positive change in our lifetime then I say we need to aggressively activate and hyper organize at the state and local level NOW. It won't come from DC.

Completely respect and appreciate what she has to say, but one good person or even a handful of good people can't save DC. DC is wholly owned and operated by the Corporate, War Profit, Death Industry, and Suppression State. I'm not saying not to try, but we need to keep perspective in mind. I feel our success on that plane is going to be extremely limited at best. We just don't have the numbers on our side. This is why I say we need to hyper organize and hyper-activate on the state and local level NOW. Yes, they are just as corrupt, just as 99.2% evil as DC as far as I'm concerned, but at least we have a greater chance of affecting change there than in DC. I wish Ms Parsons the very best and if I could vote for her I would, but I think we need to stop expecting anything from DC. Local and state elections have a far more direct influence and effect on our lives anyways. Just strategically vote for the evil institutional Dems to keep the Rethugs out of the Senate (not that theres much difference) and take our true fight to our local zip codes and our states. It's what we need to do if we want to have any control of over policymaking going forward.
