I’m glad they you folks tracked it over the history in your local civilization, for the sake of the world! ❤

Dude… 🥶

I thought the same thing, hard to illustrate 3D on a 2D image

No one seems to be talking about the weakening magnetic field and its effect on the climate. Mars being a dead planet and the moon are examples of what happens when there is no longer a magnetic field.

@imho2278 - “loses all of it’s iron” In the past 200 years, Earth's magnetic field has weakened about nine percent on a global average. The earth did not lose ~10% of its global iron content in ~200 years. I bet there is a climatic impact. I don’t think the loss of the iron is the concern. The movement & possible eventual flip of the poles is interesting, it will really mess with birds 🦢 on their migratory paths, probably some fish 🐠 as well!

Can you turn us on to a good YouTube channel in English from the Southern Hemisphere, who talks about topics like this?

South of you, they normally see the coldest times in the start of the New Year 🌨️❄️☃️

Wind turbines increase the temperature on the ground significantly, at 0.24 degrees Celsius or about 0.5 degrees Fahrenheit… and cause the wind to slow. Warming surface of the earth and slowing the wind at the surface of the earth must have some effect on climate & weather, but I don’t know if anyone really considered it as they started building these turbines around the globe.

@edbollett9083 - the continuous weakening of Earth’s magnetic field & Earth’s magnetic pole shifts may be mutually related… and I wish more people researched those phenomena and understood the implications to climate. Mars exploration indicates Mars had a magnetic field and has one (ie molten rock solidifies with atoms aligned to the poles, Mars rocks shows this, and Mars magnetic field is nothing like it used to be, and it is a dead planet.) Solar wind blows off the atmosphere of dead planets, where magnetic fields decrease & die. Scientists say planets die when their magnetic fields die. I think people are looking at the wrong things on the earth right now.

Great additional info!

“streaks in the sky” - Musk’s new satellite launches, StarLink network… and his competitors building similar networks. They will not block out the sun, really small things, but a huge quantity of them!

With China [the size of much of Asia] building 2 coal plants a week and the US [the size of much of North America] struggling to sit down 0.5 a week. Europe stopped shutting down coal plants, due to Russian invasions. Now, think: South America, Central America, Africa, India. Their [unclean] energy production & usage is rising dramatically. Political decisions in The West really don’t make a difference on a global level. Honestly, anyone saying it will make any significant difference is lying. More efficient & cleaner use of existing fossil fuels, where the technology makes its way to the 3rd World, would be better for humanity,
