@guilegameche3810 - “THAT’s your argument for its use?” no, that is the fact disputing the lie that it is odorless & therefore the argument natural gas is dangerous because it is odorless in invalid. We can all be adults about this, and not lie about basic facts, so people can make informed decisions.

@John_II - the solar panels have toxic heavy metals in them, recycling works with non-toxic components of solar panels like glass & aluminum, so solar panels are merely a bunch of super-fund sites waiting to happen.

In the US, natural gas is much more reliable than electricity. Two houses that I could see from my home, burned down due to electrical fires… none due to natural gas fires. It is really very safe.

@patrickjordan2233 - and that is why natural gas in pipelines going to homes & businesses are safer than natural gas being allowed to seep into the atmosphere

@SigFigNewton - Solar comes with lurking danger because it is electricity, as in the list above. It cells are made with toxic chemicals, and not all of those components are recycled… the non-toxic components, like glass & aluminum are recycled. The rest of the non-recyclable toxic components from Solar are super fund sites across the world, waiting to happen.

@ - “solar is extremely safe as an energy source” Solar converts sunlight into electricity… and the last wildfires in California, killing many people & uncountable wildlife, looks like it came from another electricity transmission accident.

The toxic components in the solar panels (non-toxic glass & aluminum are recycled) are a superfund waiting to happen. Most lithium batteries are also not recycled, and lithium leeched into ground water is linked to autism in children. Let’s hope those powerwalls will be recycled & not cause a generation of autistic kids in your area… as the vast majority of lithium batteries have been dumped for decades.

@timogul - really, though. Solar panels are recycled by removing manufacturer serials, resold in the used market, then they are buried in landfills after special disposal permits are granted or when they are just thrown away in the garbage or when they are buried in backyards.

Let’s hope they dig up the natural gas pipes & replace them with pipes capable of carrying higher percentages of H2!

That is the dumbest comment I have seen on this channel.

That’s why people have vented stoves. Honestly, every stove should be vented, because burned stuff in the kitchen also causes respiratory problems.

@marcdenlinger5282 - natural gas delivered to the home is not odorless. Natural gas is an aggregate of many gases, including methane. It is irrelevant if one of the many gasses included in Natural Gas is odorless or not.

LOL! Except it is not made from Fossils… it is made from decaying radioactive material in the earth, meaning that it is indefinitely renewable… and if the natural gas is not used, will merely seep into the atmosphere & cause global warming. (CO2 from natural gas causes less global warming & creates more water in the biosphere.)

@ericpatterson3887 - “this is a deceptive comment” The comment indicating that the previous comment was deceptive is deceptive. Because natural gas, out of the ground, is odorless… it is safer to harvest the gas, mix it with odor, and use it… rather than just leave it along, allow the natural gas to naturally seep out of the ground, in it’s dangerous state. The deceptive comment, about the supposed deceptive comment, is actually a reason to harvest & utilize natural gas. The irony is so thick, you can cut it with a knife
