If he does not debate he is going to lose heavily. He has to show his face and if he cannot do that people will view him as a coward. All Trump will have to do is say crazy stuff to get attention stuff that people simply do not care about. Slag of a few celebs and so on at the right time especially celebs the public cannot stand.

Deep down most voters will not care about that even though the media will start to make it a story. If Biden does not debate he will lose.

People are going to see it that way. He will not be able to make the excuse about the virus as Trump will be seen on tv as will other people.

Biden has always been a terrible debater and then there's the risk he will say something extremely stupid that makes no sense. And by the way Biden has always been like that. In the most recent Democratic primaries he made several blunders and the media and opponent never called him on it but Trump will. The democratic party is a mess hence why Hillary and Biden where the certain candidates. The real problems started when the path was cleared for Obama and that open up the floodgates. Trump had to beat far stronger opponent in his primary.

That would be a disaster for Biden so far he looks worse when doing broadcast. There would be too many things for him and he will get confused. Biden does better in a live debate in front of an audience where he only needs to focus on the person doing the questions. Biden has always been a bumbling mess it is not a new thing and it is not dementia has people have been suggesting. The guy is a gaffe machine and he keeps on giving. If he does not do a debate he will lose the election as sure as night follows day.

And what is their next generation. Biden and Sanders is the last of their charismatic personalities. Everybody else are like wet fishes. Nobody likes them other than hardcore party activists. There are no shining lights in the democratic party and the party also at an executive level has favorites that are truly dreadful. They may try and get Michelle Obama but she has zero experience in front of the limelight and I am not convinced she wants to do it.

If Biden avoids the debate he will lose. Trump already sent out a threat if they try to do mail in he will delay the election and that has scared them.

Mail in will not work. Only strong democrat states like California will it work and it is not like it will be any need for it there. Other states like Florida it will not work. Biden has a chance to beat Trump fair and square but his campaign have made a mess of it so far. If they do not debate he will lose and that will be a certain loss.

@anomalousanonymous California is a guaranteed win for Biden and the democrats they do not need to fix it there but that is just one of the few states it will work in. Biden has to win Florida and at present he is nowhere near to being in the race.

If Biden does not debate he will lose. He will get branded a coward and also it will not drive enthusiasm for his political campaign. I suspect it will be a low turnout for him if he does not debate.

It is not that they were trying to block Sanders. Democrats for a long while have a controlled executive and have their own candidates like Biden and Hillary. But who is their next generation? None of them are electable.
