  1. I think it was scripted because the Oscars was desperate for attention. More people will watch the video of the slap than the actual event it self.

  2. Some of it is about the art and the film making. Many of those that get nominated and win are all about the art. Just a pity that the main awards have gone political.

  4. It would be pathetic to revoke his award considering he won it. That would never happen. I do not think his performance is really oscar material nor any of the other performances. Denzel was the only actor there who deserved it on acting merit for nomination but even that is not a real oscar winning performance. The oscar are suppose to be about Hollywood and very few of the award nominations are really Hollywood. They are art house films that cost a lot of money.
