  11.  @TheWorldOfDreams_  There are not that many people leaving the UK. The figures are in line with historical movements. Right now the figures are veering towards the lower side. The cultural perception can actually be very different from the real numbers on the ground. It is like Americans thinking everybody in the UK was a Beatle because of the cultural perception.

  12.  @TheWorldOfDreams_  Forming a nuclear reaction is one thing. Delivering it through inter continental system is a completely different matter. One of the reasons why Russia freaks out about the European defensive missile shield is the fact it can neutralize warheads. People have an unrealistic expectation of nuclear weapons in that it takes more than one to destroy the likes of the US with hundreds required to do real damage and many thousands required to take the US out. It would take numbers almost in the hundreds to take the UK out so that it could not fight back. What differentiates the UK and US is that they have delivery systems that enable them to accurately and consistently land their warheads where they want. It is not about being cocky because at the end of the day nobody wants nuclear war.

  14.  @paulbrunton877  Russian weapons were used to kill British Troops in Afghanistan and Iraq but no body for one moment claimed that Russia was directly involved in that war. The UK is free to sell its weapons to any country on earth and those countries are free to sell those weapons to who ever they like. There is just no getting around those facts and claiming that Russia is special in this changes nothing. Russia supplied weapons in Korea and Vietnam so they do not get to claim anything.
