  2. Home schooling is just as realistic as state run schools. Black history is taught in schools not from a position of enlightenment but from a position of ideology. Kids are taught in school today that the civil war was about slavery.

Take mathematics for example the school system does not approach it as a science and most kids when they leave school hate the subject and do not really learn from it. The education system is flawed. Americans are getting fatter because they sit in school all day from the age of 4 to 18.

  6. The most basic skills students should be developing from mathematics is number theory and algebra. These are the most basic building blocks of mathematics that nearly all complex mathematics is derived from. The main flaw is that teaching it is focusing on drumming into children is problem completion methods that focus upon exams. The whole education system is actually built upon this. This is all at the expense of children's development.

  7. You want flaws in mathematics I could spend all day with you on this topic if you desire. Children are not presented mathematics as a science they are taught basic functions within mathematics which is completely fine for basic calculations such as exercises in mental arithmetic's but that is limited. The school system tries to cover far too much in terms of the number of topic just look at any text book to see that. And this then presents the problem that they do not get the basic skills.
