For the entry requirements and job security it is not bad and the pay is reasonably good for what they do. It is not the best paid job of course but it is a job all the same that is skilled and offer good pay. Teacher complain about their salaries are you sure it is not the unions that are making a big deal out of this. The average pay is about 50k per year which is not bad while not amazing but better than a lot of jobs. A surgeons average is about 200k but with more debt and training.

Teaching is quite well paid that is the reason a lot people do it. It is so much better than an unskilled job like sweeping the floor. Nursing is also well paid were some specialist nurses can be on high pay. Most medical professionals I know that are men and women earn the same and it has nothing to do with unions or law.

And the solution to stop the evil businesses is for good business to pay women more money and in turn this means they can employ less people.

My opinion is that a lot of people that are teachers would not do better or not by much anyway. Even 100k in NYC today is not that spectacular either because purchasing power is being reduced by socialism. Real inflation has destroyed peoples savings. When they talk about taxing the rich what they really mean is that they are taxing the workers who end up paying the taxes for the rich because the rich have to make money as well.
