  1. It depends on who you actually ask. There is a political philosophy in Russia that has been very strong and growing politically for decades and it based in around Eurasian National Bolshevism that thinks the only way the east can get ahead would be if the west collapses. And that they have to work towards causing the west to collapse. There problem is one of numbers and national resolve. America has an economy that is worth thousands of trillions of dollars and a nation that loves it self.

  2. They are beholden to a lazy attitude that thinks America will fight its every battle. Hopefully that now gets their attention maybe gets them back on track again. Germany, France, UK, Spain, Italy and Netherlands should all have militaries that make Russia look small.

  5. Russia could enter there before all of what you claim they should be doing. They extremely small countries. There combined populations is 6.5 million. They simply do not have the resources to do all of that overnight. They were all very poor up until about a decade ago. They are all members of NATO so they would be needing help in dealing with the large Russian military. Ukraine has a population of 40 million.
