  12. IMAX 70mm is actually different because it puts the film through the camera on its side. The 70mm format that Tarantino used runs through the camera vertically. SO when you watch the 70mm on Interstellar you are watching two different formats of 70mm. I hope that explains it for you.

  34. A much bigger camera, more expensive and cannot be used on a whole film. When shooting a movie for IMAX 70mm they shoot most of the movie on 65mm.

  36. Web 3.0 is not the same as web3. Web 3.0 is a set of loosely canonized protocols that would run web services. Web3 is an idea of decentralizing the internet. They are two different things to be honest. We are currently at a crossroads in terms of what direction we go in. Either the internet/web will become more centralized or it will go down the decentralized road. Both will have advantages and disadvantages.

  38. Not even close to it. 70mm has a resolution of about 18k and can form screen sizes so large that no digital cinema could come close to it.

  39.  @renegade637  70mm IMAX at 15 perf is the largest cinema screens in the world. 65mm film projectors can make an image far larger and more clear than any digital cinema can do. Even 35 can do a larger screen. 35mm has a minimum resolution of about 8k. It is not even a contest.

  40. 35mm film has a resolution that is about 8K. There are no digital theaters or home set up at that level. Then there is the fact that no digital system can match the color presentation of film.

  41.  @LORDVADER357  There are very limited 8k projectors that get used in science museums as part of some display in the open floors. They are simply not cinema grade projectors though. Most cinema films today are actually 2k digital not 4k digital.

The idea of the tokens/crypto is to take some of the financial power that corporations currently have and to have it distributed into the market place. The idea is that a user can take those tokens and use them to build on the net without the need for corporations to providing funding. So an enterprising user could build an organisation that could purely be constructed from those tokens. Every user will have access to those tokens. The key here is to understand that it does not mean a user will not have access when they have no tokens but if that user wants to trade or build they will require them. We also have a plug in our thinking hole in that we cannot imagine such a system with next generation technologies such as vr and ai. What exactly would such a world be?
