The US has thousands of trillions of assets and about $200 trillion of liabilities. What most do not understand is that the QE does not change any of that. If there was no US there would be no world reserve currency and their would be economic chaos. Post WW2 the stepped up and used it wealth to act as a security for a world currency. Most people seem to think that the US were lucky in somehow getting this "priviledge" but the reality is being a world reserve currency actually takes away from US growth.

@jont2576 The vast majority of Chinese still live in rural poverty.

@Shane Septon That is pure nonsense. You stated that "Americans largely lack unless they are more well-to-do" That is pure horse dirt at best. Median income in the US is $60,000 with one in three incomes being in excess of $100,000, 90% of the US population has insurance coverage, median retirement income is $70,000 with the median retirement fund being $1.5 million. Everything you have stated is nonsense.

Nationalism is not the problem in China. Being ruled by a murderous communist government is their biggest problem.

@Zgnid Olias China's national rhetoric is not their problem. They grew their market economy and now have decided they want to go back to communism. And then there is the problem that China has never answered for murdering over 100 milllion people like the Nazi's have.

China is a factory economy with little room for growth.

China is still a rural country. The vast majority of the country live in rural settings earning less than $1000 per year.

@mrsalwaysright6478 No body cares what you want.

US conservatives are breeding like crazy. They are having 5 children on average and liberal socialists are having no children. US population is not going to increase over the next 20 years and there is going to be a 15% fall but what remains will be young and very determined.

They got taken out of poverty because the US made China its factory. The CCP was not responsible for that.

I suspect that the dictatorship will try to unleash a major war as their economy starts to fail.

Keep dreaming.

Paper millionaires does not actually make them a millionaire. Buying properties because they are going up in value for the sake of it does not make it a productive asset especially when there is nobody living in the property.

AI research requires thousands of projects, thousands of companies and economy that can then implement that technological development. AI is not going to come about from one invention. China does not have that type of economy that can be creative and implement such technological development. China will use the technology when it is mature but will not be a forward thinking force. China does not even have a google, Microsoft, apple or texas instruments.

US median income is $60,000 per year and one in three US incomes are in excess of $100,000 per years. Median US retirement fund is $1.5 million hence why there are more millionaires. Over 95% of all US millionaires are self made with half of them coming from lower income groups.

China can start a major World War that would cost the lives of over 1 billion Chinese people.

There is no divide in America. What are you are seeing has always been US politics. It is that competition of ideas also experimentation that drives America forward. RIght now the left is dominating in America but that will all change once Americans understand what is happening. There is already a growing backlash in America against socialism and it will only keep growing.

@bluebottlecoffeeaddict6529 It is still true today as 30% of the Chinese workforce is directly employed in Agriculture. With nearly 50% of the country still living in rural communities.

@hughmungus2760 China is a communist state and is nothing like the declaration by Monroe.

Elvin yeo The US does not throw homeless people into camps.
