  5. China would have a big challenge in trying to carryout a naval invasion. Taiwan has a large defensive airforce and a large ground troop that would make invasion extremely difficult for China.

  21.  @rowback97  The most powerful nations allowed Cambodia to kill millions of people, allowed wars to break out all over Africa and just sat and watched millions starve and die. They allow China to get away with things because they do not tend to get involved in other people's lives unless they are a threat. China has a low standard naval force of glorified transporter ships. Taiwan has 30000 missiles that will turn any invading navy into a scrap yard.

  22.  @rowback97  China has a gang of glorified fishing boats, merchant ships and substandard naval ships. Taiwan has has a first rate airforce that is capable of operating against naval attacks and layered on top of that Taiwan has a air defence system that would cut the substandard naval force of China to shreds. In that narrow section of sea China would get cut to shreds. China large numbers are all on paper and are not reality.

  24. I think people are overestimating China's military and underestimating Taiwan's forces. If China thinks it will just come and invade and nothing else will happen then they are mistaken. Taiwan has a fully function large scale air defence system that could be used to target Chinese military assets on main land as well as target an invading navy. China simply does not have the capacity to carry out such a scaled navy invasion.

I am not saying that was the right thing to do but to claim they were all Nazi's is madness. Austria was not the only country to roll over to the Nazi's but they did it in the least amount of resistance.

  26.  @agentc7020  Outplayed? The French has the superior field position, More troops, better armaments and held the defensive position. The only way the German forces got into France was due to the French lines being deserted. There was a half empty attempt to repel the German forces after they broke the line but it was far too little far too late. "Paris would have been bombarded and for nothing" Austria though the exact same thing.
