Hector Maddock-Greene The the EU will lose one of its native Oil sources. The EU will allow Scotland to join the EEA zone which does not require every members permission. Just like Denmark and Switzerland are. Do actually think the EU wants to lose that Oil. Why do you think Norway is in the EEA zone.

if things had of been managed correctly then the flag could have still remained and there could have been a combined defense force. There could also have been joint currency with one central bank. But economics and politics could have been managed from Scotland. But that is not the case. I think it will be a no vote any but the UK is in decline with a 2.5 trillion national debt and 10 trillion national debt liabilities. The truth is that the UK is screwed. People of the UK should really be focused on their own economy instead of worrying about Scotland independence. I left the UK a long while ago as it was in terminal decline and it is exactly were I expected it to be economically and things are just going to get worse.

oisam1988 The Scots are already giving them self a bad name with that vote. The UK government has a massive deficit and after the next general election there is going to be massive cuts from the conservative government. And Scotland will be on the front line of those cuts.

it is more like London kingdom. London has a GDP of $750 billion which is a third of UK GDP.

"conservative nationalism" The conservatives are not really the cause of the problem even though people like to think they are. The UK has a national debt of 2.5 trillion and a government deficit. Thatcher tried to end this but her own party turned on her and kicked her out as they did not have the stomach for it. Both Labour and Conservative have both been the problem they have been spineless and gutless. There needs to be cuts in the UK for it to survive. The UK government spends about 120 billion a year more than what it takes in. Which is an insane figure and explains the 2.5 trillion national debt.

So what is your data. What makes you believe this is the case. Maybe I am a little too late asking at this point. My gut feeling is that it will be a no vote.
