  2. Norwegians have a plan. Well it is called spending their oil money by moving the musical chairs around. They simply cannot tax their society any further so they need to out source their expenditure for this by other means.

  5. +AB Ba Kodak actually invented the digital camera. It simply just had too much of its infrastructure invested to change. Norway going electric is not going to work for any other country on earth. Norway has lots and lots of hydro power because of it lakes. Name another country that could copy that.

  6.  @MsLia32  Ford and Mercedes are still top of their game. As are Johnson and Johnson. IBM have been around for nearly 100 years. Bad Management happens. GE is at the moment is taking a hammering because they over extended into renewable energy and gas is now leading the way in America.

  7. The reality is that the world still needs ICE cars. Electric cars simply are not viable on todays technology. Buy an electric car right now will in no way mean that you can use that future technology. Norway is an Oil rich country with lots of easy hydro-power generation stations. People simply are leaving that part out. Norway's renewable power cannot be copied on a global levels. So Germany has nothing to fear at this point. And there is nothing stopping the Germans down the line getting electric motors and planting them in their cars when they need to.
